Recently, registered NDIS provider Barkuma introduced a new career pathway for supported employees; Peer Supervisors. Fifteen candidates were selected based on their leadership potential, teamwork skills, and positive attitude.
They underwent a comprehensive training program, including First Aid, Fire Warden, and optional Forklift Training, to mentor and coach their peers, fostering confidence and skills in the workplace.
